The Original Music Contest is a two-phase journey towards a $10,000 cash prize, with increasing national exposure that grows with every win along the way.

Unlike other talent contests where Judges have 100% say in who advances to the next round, at MakeAStar.com everyone has a voice in who wins.

Phase 2 : Hollywood Phase

Starting February 8th, all Hollywood Phase contestants compete in one final bracketed tournament. Each round of the Hollywood Phase is open for one week of public and judge voting, and now public votes are worth a whopping 50% of the total score – equal weight with our panel of judges.

The highest scoring contestants in each match advance to the next round, with last two surviving contestants squaring off March 1st – March 8th, and the $10,000 champion to be announced on Make A Star TV Saturday March 14th on FUSE.
